After deciding that something wasn’t right in most religious organizations, I found that I did agree with much of what I found in Sylvia Browne Books. However, I also knew that I could learn more and learn it faster if I found others that shared similar beliefs in the Indianapolis area.
I set out Googling and found several Spiritualist Churches in the area. I read their declaration of principles and that was when I knew I had to visit one because it all sounded just about right. After visiting a couple of them, I settled on one. Unfortunately, the energy began to change around the place and I had to get out of there. I also felt that there really weren’t any kid friendly Spiritualist Churches in the area.
Out of that was born the New Sunflower Church. Our purpose is to glorify God by spreading good will, the worship of God, and the practice of spiritual virtues, by any means possible according to the Holy Scriptures.
I later learned from God in meditation that the Indianapolis location is strategic. Indiana is the crossroads of America and New Sunflower Church is located in the heart of it. From here, the church can grow throughout the country or simply touch those that pass through. Just being in the United States is strategic because the United States is a melting pot with information available from so many different Spiritual cultures and groups.
