The Angel Raphael
Raphael is the healing angel. His name means “God heals” or “God has healed”. His color is Emerald Green, a healing color. He’s full of compassion for people who are struggling physically, mentally, emotionally, or spiritually. He always says “yes” to requests for help. But, you have to ask him for help because he respects free will. Raphael, like all angels, fulfills the will of God. Raphael works to bring people closer to God through healing. He’s often associated with joy and laughter which are also great for healing.
Raphael works with other healers such as Jesus and saints. He’s non-denominational. No matter what your faith, you can call on Raphael. Raphael also works to heal animals and the earth.
Raphael is often depicted in art holding a caduceus. The caduceus is a rod with wings and snakes wrapped around it. This staff represents the medical profession. You often see this on ambulances as part of the blue star of life.
Types of Angels
Sylvia Browne paints a different picture in her book, “Book of Angels”. She talks about many different types of angels adding up to trillions total. This is a beautiful notion that means there are plenty of angels for everyone.
Archangels for Healing
The healing phylum of angels is the Archangels. Their wings are white with blue tips. You can ask any Archangel to come with their green wands and heal you. Sylvia went on to say that angels can always hear you. I prefer to ask them in meditation, but you can ask them anytime. You may feel tingling, heat, or vibrations as they heal.
So, Raphael is actually just a name given to the many Archangels. They don’t mind what you call them though. Angels are always happy to help. If you call out for Raphael, one or more Archangels will arrive. Angels usually travel in groups because of their sheer numbers.
Here’s how Sylvia describes the healing process. The Archangel uses their green wand to absorb negativity. The wand has a grip in the middle and two balls on the ends. The wand changes to a muddy green as it absorbs negativity until it turns black. The Archangels put their wands in a pool in the Hall of Wisdom on the other side. This pool charges them back up to their brilliant green healing capacity.
So, call upon the the Archangels, or Raphael, for healing. You can do it anytime or in meditation. Either way, you will get a group of Archangels working on you. They will use their green wands to absorb negativity. Once the negativity is gone, all that remains is the natural state of order. God created everything in an ordered regularity. That is it’s natural state.
